A Special Challenge For Mothers Day

We do a lot of things for homeless. Lots of our help comes in the form of food or clothing which are the essential needs but this month we want to prepare for Mother’s Day and make something the month of April for May and for homeless mothers.

A simple easy gift and just a gesture of kindness can go a long way. So here it is Ambassadors- a little project for you this month for Mothers everywhere who need a little TLC

How to do this month’s challenge:

  1. Decide what organization you want to assist. Does a church you know connect with Women’s Shelters? An organization that helps homeless? You could even give them to non-homeless like to hospitals where people are there for long periods of time.
  2. Cut small pieces of ribbon
  3. Take a small dab of glue to the side of the polish bottle and tie file with ribbon around bottle and make a small knot.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Do you think it’s important to give non-clothing or food items to homeless or people in need? Why?
  2. What do you think their reaction will be getting something different?
  3. Why are Moms so important?
  4. If your Mom was in need, would you want someone to do this for her?

Thanks Ambassadors!
