Announcing Our Kids Contest Winner & Unveiling the NEW Characters!

Announcing Our Kids Contest Winner & Unveiling the NEW Characters!

It’s that time! The numbers are in, counted and counted again from Facebook and mostly email submissions. We had so many amazing entries and incredibly creative kids showing us how kind their imaginations can be. It goes to prove that if we give kids – of any age – the opportunity to use their creativity and their passion for kindness, they exceed our expectations in their ability to freely give and help. And with that may we have the drum roll please……the winner is……… Butch the Brave Bulldog by Adam, age 10. Adam said that his character would help wounded […]

Our Final Post & Thoughts On Year 1 of ISP|Happy Holidays!

As Christmas is upon us and our family festivities are about to begin for the next two weeks, everywhere I went I was asked that same question, “Do  you have all your Christmas shopping done?”. Nope. “Are you close?”. Not at all, not even close….not a single thing done. BUT, we managed to get our holiday cards out, all 225 of them. Does that count as being on top of my game? It should. I am sick again for about the 15th time this year (normally I am never sick), no shopping done, didn’t even get down to the […]

Cyber Monday Kids Items $5 (not raffled) & Our BIGGEST Giveaways This Week

This photo above is my worst nightmare. It gives me anxiety just looking at it. I am not a big shopper anyway so Black Friday just looks like an awful way to spend my day after stuffing my face nice and cozy in my house on Thanksgiving. But CYBER MONDAY….well that is a different story. Shopping from my home – alone- is more my pace. So we had to do some Cyber Monday offerings in the name of charity Monday, December 1st. FIRST, we have items for those who donate at the $5 mark all day today. For these […]

Giving Ideas for ThanksGIVING. Here’s How the Whole Family Can Participate

Well guys, we are officially here, Thanksgiving week – the week I believe starts the holiday season whether we are ready or not.  On your drive out of town OR while sitting at work wishing you were already heading out of town – a few things to discuss this gorgeous California morning: 1. What are we doing to help our kids grow in kindness and turn away from retail mania this week? (*believe me, it is a task we CAN accomplish…just work with me in this post) First off, most kids are out of school all week this week. This […]

Why is a new non-profit getting so much press attention? Here is why…..

Believe me, no one is more surprised than me that after just 4-5 months of launching our website and social media handles we have over 15,000 followers on Facebook, nearly 5500 on Instagram and a lot of press. It all started with a nearly half page article in the OC Register in July 2014 introducing us to our local area which lead to other media outlets reaching out to discuss what we are doing and why. Then came other periodicals, radio shows, blogging networks, online news and media outlets which gave us such an amazing platform to get where we […]

Why Are We Giving Away Our Own Money For Kindness Characters?

Our Kids Kindness Contest is extended until the end of this month! Why? We have received the most amazing things from kids of all ages. I knew we would get some really amazing characters submitted and were excited to see the ideas were developed by all ages. What I don’t think I fully expected was the depth in which kids can articulate kindness. They are simple ideas that seem so logical once you read them but as adults we for some reason just can’t seem to relay it in such an organic manner. It’s quite fascinating to see actually. So […]

What is the #1 Way to Sustain Happiness? It’s Probably Not What You Think.

Did you know that research has proven that the single most influential factor to sustained happiness is acts of kindness and service to another? To do something greater than yourself, reach out to another human being or engage in a cause that you feel is worthwhile. Studies have shown time and time again that social status, wealth, culture, religion, material items……none of these can sustain happiness in life alone. But with consistent acts of charity, philanthropy or kindness a life of happiness is possible. We noticed our blog post did not email out this past week. In case you missed […]

The Meaning of Our New Childrens Book, Dylan & Delany, Is Deeper Than You May Think

Link to Kickstarter Click Here Many of you know how the Infinite Smile Project started and why we developed our book series and programs to teach kids kindness, but many of you don’t. Some of you knew us before having the twins, after having them, during the wait for “Angel’s” heart surgery, once she was better and some of you – still don’t know us but came across ISP and fell in love with what it does and will continue to do in the world. Our launch was behind about 50 days but it was well worth it. We met […]

Can Kindness Be a Non-Profit? YEP! ISP kicks off this week with contests, giveaways and some new friends…..

That day is here! The Infinite Smile Project is officially launching to the public and we are going to have some FUN. Although non-profits are wonderful regardless of their purpose or cause – I think many of us can agree when we think of the words “fundraiser” and “non-profit” we think of formal dinners and speeches, golf tourneys and did we say speeches? Well, welcome to ISP – our goal is….and always will be…..to raise awareness, develop programs, conduct fundraisers and recruit volunteers all in the name of kindness while dripping with fun. Don’t forget, we were mentored by the […]
