Giving Rocks! 8 January 2016 Ladera Ranch

We painted rocks to give hope to families who lost a loved one who donated organs to save others. We painted them with love and encouragement. It was really fun and I understood this was for people who miss someone they love.

2015-What’s In The Works at ISP to Teach Our Kids to Learn Compassion & Community In An Unsettled World

This past Sunday, January 4th, marked two important days in our house. I turned 40 and the Infinite Smile Project turned 1. Angel and Peanuts remembered in their half sleep to tell me “Happy Birthday” first thing in the morning but they also to my surprised remembered how we spent my birthday last year – handing out the star wands around town to “make people happy”, as they phrased it. I knew it made an impression on them, but it never occurred to me that at that young age they remembered the exact day it all began. A year that […]

Our Final Post & Thoughts On Year 1 of ISP|Happy Holidays!

As Christmas is upon us and our family festivities are about to begin for the next two weeks, everywhere I went I was asked that same question, “Do  you have all your Christmas shopping done?”. Nope. “Are you close?”. Not at all, not even close….not a single thing done. BUT, we managed to get our holiday cards out, all 225 of them. Does that count as being on top of my game? It should. I am sick again for about the 15th time this year (normally I am never sick), no shopping done, didn’t even get down to the […]

A Little Reminder of What The Season Is All About In Our Last 5 Days

We have been roaming around town with our volunteers and Kid Ambassadors spreading smiles. Have you come across one of our Kindness Reindeer? He provides a nice back scratch, just because he is – you know- kind. Would Santa hire any other sort of reindeer? We are only 5 days away from the end of our fundraiser. We are only $3,000 away from our goal to kick off our Kid Ambassador Programs, products, and Campaigns for 2015. We have collaborated with other non-profits, kids, teens, parents, schools, and friends to develop all sorts of fun things to engage our kids in consistent philanthropic work from ages […]

In a Chaotic World This Week What Can We Do To Help Our Children?

In a Chaotic World This Week What Can We Do To Help Our Children?

On the heels of the events in Sydney this past Monday came another reminder of the reality of our world today. Sitting in a meeting I saw a news post flash on my phone about the school massacre in Pakistan – 132 children gone over nonsense. Just last night I ended my evening watching a documentary called “Out of the Clear Blue Sky“, about 9/11 and the effects it had on Cantor Fitzgerald who lost every employee that day in the tower to terrorism. To watch that film footage and feel as though no time has really passed, it’s […]

Smile It Forward This Holiday ~The Kindest Gift You Can Give

Smile It Forward This Holiday ~The Kindest Gift You Can Give

Busy, busy, busy. That’s our motto right now, is it not? However, let’s not forget about that this time of year is mainly about helping others who are not as fortunate as us. To appreciate and be grateful for what we have. To leave the world a better place for our children. We are so blessed. We live in a first world country, have a place to call home, shelter and food for our families. We don’t lack for anything therefore it is our responsibility to help those who do. To help one another and show our kids […]

How A 5 Year Old Inspired So Many & A Thanks To Her Amazing Mom

How A 5 Year Old Inspired So Many & A Thanks To Her Amazing Mom

As we’re in the middle of the giving season – a time of year where we yearn to help others and appreciate the good in people, I want to highlight this story once more. This amazing woman has done so much for the Infinite Smile Project when no one knew who we were because she believed in what we were doing and I feel everyone should know her story and how incredibly inspiring she is. Please let her and her daughter be an inspiration to you and your family and remember anyone, any age, can be a philanthropist and change […]

Introducing Our Awaited 2015 Giving Campaign!

Introducing Our Awaited 2015 Giving Campaign!

What is a “Suspended” Coffee? Most Americans have no idea what this means. Even though I have spent much time over in Europe and the U.K., quite honestly, neither did I. However in Naples, Italy, there is something called ‘Caffe Sospeso” where someone who is more fortunate financially buys a coffee for another who is not. So, how does this coincide with ISP? I shall now elaborate (and trust me, you want to hear this….) Initially, I intended to just interview the creator, John Sweeney, to find out what Suspended Coffees was all about and why there is such a […]

4 Questions a Dad Asked That Changed An Entire School – A True Story

4 Questions a Dad Asked That Changed An Entire School – A True Story

I get sent all sorts of stories and emails these days about children, kindness, bullying, or average people doing amazing things. A friend of mine posted this one on social media and it struck a chord with me. In many instances we, as adults, stand by and ignore things we hear kids saying and doing with the thought, “It’s not my child, not my issue to address” or “kids will be kids and it’s no big deal”. Kids will be kids but adults need to be adults and guide these children and young adults in the right direction if we […]

Kids Holiday Kindness Activity, New Products, & Giveaway Updates!

Kids Holiday Kindness Activity, New Products, & Giveaway Updates!

Please take a moment to read this post this Friday afternoon. We want to thank everyone for all their help getting our fundraiser off the ground and spreading the word. But we need your help. We are not even 50% funded to get this book printed and have 18 days left. We know it is a lot to ask for donations at a time of year when everyone is asking for something. We have had amazing people step forward to help do what they can and one of this was an author of these three books: He has done […]
