Presidential & Government Awards for Kids Volunteer Service

Presidential & Government Awards for Kids Volunteer Service

For the past year we have been partnering with a former staff member of mine to bring more to the table for our ISP families. We at Infinite Smile Project have been fortunate enough to bring on someone I adore,  Morgan Lunsford. Morgan left my company when she moved out of state but has continued to work closely with me and her passion for what we do at ISP to improve the program and work on campaigns and challenges, and research ways to create fun ways for kids to give back and continue a philanthropic spirit.  Now that my […]

#BooItForward2018 This Halloween!

#BooItForward2018 This Halloween!

As our campaigns always have some sort of charitable aspect in them, sometimes it’s just fun to have some simple neighborly kindness. Everyone loves to give and receive “boo’s”. I have done them for my adult neighbors with a bottle of wine and the sign below and we do them to about 3 unsuspecting neighbors in our neighborhood with kids. Sometimes we even do a drive by to a friend from school and drop one off to their house to start the trend in their neighborhood. It’s fun, easy, and inexpensive. Halloween ~ my kids know it is my favorite […]

Every Child Deserves Comfort at Bedtime!

Every Child Deserves Comfort at Bedtime!

Bedtime…the dreaded time of night for some parents and easy as pie for others. If your children are anything like the kids we know, there is a certain routine at bedtime to ensure a good night’s sleep. Some children require a certain number of books to be read or songs to be sung or listened to, while other children enjoy a good snuggle. Most likely, your child has a comfort object that they cannot go to sleep without…sometimes resulting in frantic searches around the house for said object. Whatever your routine is, there are requirements to ensure bedtime goes as [...] Read more »
Why You Should Host an UN-Birthday Party for Homeless Youth Near You!

Why You Should Host an UN-Birthday Party for Homeless Youth Near You!

We hope that nobody we know will be forced out of their home, but it happens every day all over the country. For a multitude of reasons, people have no other option than to live on streets and in shelters. While shelters do the best they can to provide a safe place to stay; they often do not have the funding required to truly support all that a person needs. In many cases, shelters are not even able to provide warm meals, clothes, and basic medical care. Living in a shelter is not an ideal life for anyone, but especially […]

The Power of Love!

The Power of Love!

Let’s see what the power of love can accomplish!  We recently met a little girl who is going through a difficult journey in life, and through special friends, we were able to witness her live one of her dreams. Kailyn is a special, vibrant little girl who is currently undergoing treatments for A.L.L. – High Risk B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Childhood A.L.L. is a type of cancer where the bone marrow produces too many immature lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell). Before her diagnosis her parents described her as “energetic, athletic, and lively!” She was just starting her life’s […]

Helping Those Who Help Others Become Jigger Free!

Helping Those Who Help Others Become Jigger Free!

As people who do good and spread kindness in the world, do you sometimes feel like a special agent, maybe a kindness ninja? Every time you hear of someone in need, you make it your goal to do what you can to change that person’s life. It’s kind of like having your own personal mission to make the world a better place. One organization we are highlighting this month was founded on that very idea. Sole Hope was born after the organization’s founder, Asher Collie, watched a YouTube video of African children who were seriously infected with jiggers. Instead of […]

Kindness Over Candy This Valentine’s Day

Kindness Over Candy This Valentine’s Day

How many years now have you rushed to the nearest Target the week of Valentines day only to find picked over, cartoon-covered, generic messaged cards for your kids to pass out to their classmates? We can all probably remember as kids looking forward to passing out and receiving these cards in class, maybe even cherishing one from your innocent third grade crush. Only days later though they would most likely end up in the trash, the candy picked over, and it was time to move on to the next holiday. That seems a little meaningless. Isn’t the whole point of […]
