Your Kids Raised Over $2,000 For A Cause in 2 Hours – ISP Ambassadors Helped a Family & We Adore Them!

Hi Amazing ISP’ers and new friends! Thank you for all that came out and helped this family at our #SomethingSpecial event. We had a room full of kids and adults and raised over $2,000 in 2 hours for the Webb family. I wanted to share some photos and let everyone know that kids all over OC came and donated tooth fairy money, piggy bank savings, allowance money and even a large sum from a birthday party one ISP Ambassador had asking solely for donations to give to the Webb family directly. Your kids are INCREDIBLE and I am blessed to […]

Shop ‘Til You Drop – Ambassadors and Community Helping Homeless Children

So what have ISP’ers been up to lately? How are we spending our time and money? Well…   Over the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, we teamed up with Operation Warm Wishes to hold a shopping spree for families in need. Operation Warm Wishes (OWW) is a non-profit organization in Tustin that helps support and rehabilitate the homeless.  Each of the 115 participants were given $25 in gift certificates, as well as $5 cash. Along with their budget, they were given a list of suggestions to ensure they bought more health-conscious items instead of just junk.     With the help of […]

We are making cards and collecting professional clothes for our local homeless! We are collecting cards from kids and professional clothes from our adults this month for the “Cut the Hate, Share the Love” event in February. This event is a makeover day for our local homeless with haircuts and professional clothes for them to try on and keep to help get them back on their feet, look for employment and improve their self-worth again. We want them to know we believe in them so we are asking the kids to make cards we can hand to them before they […]

We will be collecting gift cards from Albertson’s throughout the first half of January, decorating reusable bags, making grocery […]

Too May Presents? Donate Your Holiday Gifts

Too May Presents? Donate Your Holiday Gifts

Each year I feel a bit guilty at the gluttony of gifts my kids enjoy over the holidays. Each November I find myself setting days aside to go through their playroom to clear out toys they no longer play with anticipating the influx of new in December. They have a difficult time letting go of anything being only 6, although improving. Once I explained where the other toys go and how another child can enjoy the excitement of their toy they simply start handing over. Being as fortunate as we are to afford to give our children a wonderful Christmas, […]

The holiday season is here and there are a more people and causes that need assistance than we care to count, but we have selected a couple for our group this year. But first, I want to share a good article an ISP’er shared with me on how to raise grateful kids. I know I am not alone when I say I worry incessantly that I will raise kids that have no concept of the world in which we live and the privileges they have simply by luck of birth. We try tirelessly to put a sense of reality into […]

Help Keep Drunk Drivers From Our Family & Friends This Holiday

Help Keep Drunk Drivers From Our Family & Friends This Holiday

This month’s challenge is for us parents, friends, or anyone you can pass this off to that is an adult or old enough to drive. A friend of mine posted last night on social media that she stopped someone leaving the same bar who was highly impaired and getting in his car to please consider an Uber and that it wasn’t worth it. He stopped, agreed, and left his car. She could have saved a life….or several last night. It gave me the idea to do a challenge for the parents this month. I appreciated her actions so much as […]
