(for kids & schools!) We are doing our inaugural year at an Orange County, CA elementary school with an awesome Principal that helped us create and supported my crazy project. Celebrate This Independence Day by Giving Back!

Celebrate This Independence Day by Giving Back!

We’re about two weeks away from celebrating Independence Day! While you may be anticipating BBQs, pool parties, fireworks, and some quality family time; there are many people who will not be spending the holiday with their loved ones. This month we challenged you to write letters to a deployed troop, veteran, new recruit, or first responder in honor of their dedication to protecting us. If you haven’t had a chance to sit down and write those letters, it’s okay! There is still plenty of time to gather your supplies and ship your letters to Operation Gratitude. Head on over to […]

Read a Book, Pass it On!

Read a Book, Pass it On!

Oh, the places you go when you read a book! When was the last time you dived into a good story with your child? Chances are it was just last night! There is nothing like a good book that whisks you away on far off adventures. Books let you experience different, imaginary worlds, but they also open doors for new experiences in the real world. Reading books aids in comprehension, language skills, and mental stimulation. Regularly reading exercises your brain and improves neural connectivity. It’s so important for children to have access to books, so as their young brains grow […]

Seniors loved our January Campaign!

Seniors loved our January Campaign!

We hope you enjoyed our first campaign of the year! Making and delivering warm and fuzzy cupcake socks to seniors was the perfect way to share some kindness mid-winter! Angel and Peanut, along with their Girl Scout troop, had an amazing time spending an afternoon with seniors in their community. The day before Valentines Day they went to a senior center and made the cupcake socks, sat with each of the seniors and chatted, and gave the seniors homemade cards. We are so proud of Angel, Peanut and their Girl Scout troop! Many senior citizens do not have family nearby […]

Start With Hello!

Start With Hello!

Happy New Year! With the new year on its way, we are excited about the exciting things we have planned for our Kindness Ambassadors, as well as our monthly participants! At the start of each year, we like to present our kindness community with a yearly focus, kind of like a New Year’s resolution. This year we have chosen to focus on the Sandy Hook Promise's “Start With Hello” campaign. We challenge students to reach out to classmates who are in need of kindness, compassion, and friendship. An aspect of the Sandy Hook Promise is for students to recognize social [...] Read more »

Tis the Season to Give Back to Others!

Ho-Ho-Ho!! How is your holiday season going so far? In between Christmas parties, school events, and getting prepped for the big day on the 25th you might have let this month’s campaign slip by. We understand, but it’s also one of the easiest campaigns of the year and one that can potentially give back the most! Plus, you won’t have to worry about presents for your entire extended family…it’s a triple win campaign! We encourage you to do something different this year with your gift giving. Before you buy gifts cards or toys that will lose meaning over the years, think [...] Read more »
It’s the Season of Thanks and Giving!

It’s the Season of Thanks and Giving!

This is the season of thanks and giving! As the holidays approach, consider how you and your family will give back this year, maybe in lieu of gifts, but more on that next month. We are all familiar with Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. It seems like we find ourselves in a spending frenzy this time of year, buying gifts for ourselves and others. Now there is one more day to add to the list, but this day is all about giving in a different way. Giving Tuesday has been growing in popularity in recent years and we could [...] Read more »

Presidential & Government Awards for Kids Volunteer Service

For the past year we have been partnering with a former staff member of mine to bring more to the table for our ISP families. We at Infinite Smile Project have been fortunate enough to bring on someone I adore,  Morgan Lunsford. Morgan left my company when she moved out of state but has continued to work closely with me and her passion for what we do at ISP to improve the program and work on campaigns and challenges, and research ways to create fun ways for kids to give back and continue a philanthropic spirit.  Now that my […]
